While still back here in God’s country enjoying our last few weeks of farm life, I imagine many of you have been doing what I kind of wish I was doing…. hitting up the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

I’ll admit it, I miss my Nordstrom! Now, I’m not the kind of gal who chooses to waste hours upon hours wondering through a crowded shopping mall. So, in general I rarely venture out past the comfort of my little department store. It’s my one stop shop. I know exactly where everything is… bing, bang, boom, and I’m out!

Last week I took a drive over to Indy to visit my dear friend Julie for the evening. On my way home in the morning I happened to stumble into one of my favorite Nordstroms, at the Fashion Mall at Keystone. Honestly, the sale was pretty picked over, but I was home again… and it felt good!

This month I’m sharing a few of my current Nordstrom picks and a couple other summer staples:

1. Ray Ban “Erica Classic” Sunglasses I actually picked up this pair of Ray Bans right before leaving Massachusetts last month. However, had I not conveniently left them on the kitchen counter, I’d surely be enjoying them right now. I’ve had a pair of their “nylon” glasses in a different style before, and loved how light they are on my face. I’m the kind of person who easily gets headaches from headbands, ponytails, and tight/heavy sunglasses, so when I come across a pair that are lightweight and adorable, I grab them!
2. Stem Ruched T-Shirt Midi Dress I picked up this little number while popping into the Keystone Nordstrom last week. I wish Stem made it in more colors because I would buy every single one! The side rouching makes this dress so flattering and comfortable. I also love that it can go from casual to dressy just by changing what shoes you wear it with. Comfy+flattering+versatile=perfect!
3. Free People “Long Beach” Tank I find my luck with Free People tends to be hit or miss. Often times I find that even an x-small can be too big. And I get it, that’s the look, but sometimes it just doesn’t work for me. When I do find something from the brand I’m usually obsessed with it, and this tank falls into that catagory! I still need to wear another tank or bandeau under it, but the fit is adorable and the length is just right.
4. Yosi Samra Fllip Flops I found this brand a few years ago while attending an event at National Jean Company, and have been in love ever since! I love the simplicity and comfort of them so much that I snag a new pair every summer. They have a ton of colors too! My favorites are gold and nude. Definitely worth a peek!
5. American Eagle Cut-Off Midi Short Next to the Hudson Jeans shorts I highlighted last month, these are my favorite this summer. They are a bit more casual than the other pair, and won’t loose their shape by the end of the day. And the best part… they’re on sale, so hurry!
