It’s hard to believe the Light Foundation will be hosting it’s 14th annual Matt Light Celebrity Shoot Out  in just a few short days. On Tuesday, September 25th, approximately 600 participants, vendors, and volunteers will gather at Addieville East Farms, in Burrellville, RI for a full day of clay-shooting, fly fishing, gourmet food, live music, and fireworks!

Funding for our annual programming, such as our Leadership Conference, The Light Project, and Camp Vohokase, heavily depend on the success of this single event.

 Going once… Going twice… 

Our live and silent auctions are filled with some really incredible items; from hunting trips and Kawasaki dirt bikes, to fine dining experiences and sports memorabilia. However, we like to add some special options just for the ladies, like spa packages from The Right Touch, gift baskets from Bella Sante T3 Micro, and photography sessions from Pure Style Photography.  I even throw in a few of my own handmade bracelets and Swarovski adorned Patriot hats.

This year I thought it would be fun to auction off a “Beauty Box” filled with some of my favorite products from past blog posts (plus a few current crushes). So, if you plan on attending the Shoot Out this year, or know someone who is, you could have a chance to take home a little piece of Keeping the Light House!

Pro tip: Fellas, trust me when I say it’s not a good idea the return home from a 10 hour long charity event empty handed. Don’t make this rookie mistake!

Here’s a look at what will be included in my “Beauty Box”:

  Beauty really does come from within! I start each day with two scoops of Vital Proteins in my coffee for an added collagen boost to my beauty routine.

  I am a fan of all things neutral! From home decor to flip flops, I can’t get enough of beautiful, classic shades of creams, grays, and pinks. • Mario Badescu “Rosewater Facial Spray”

  

  I like to keep a small bottle of Rose Water spray in my travel bag for a quick and easy way to freshen up tired skin while on the road.

  Ok, not exactly a “beauty product”, but I am obsessed with candles and had to include one on my all-star list. This particular brand from Target has a great selection of fall scents right now, including my favorite; Brown Sugar Chestnut.

How about the box? My daughter Grace and I love these decorative storage boxes from Michaels so we thought this one would be perfect to hold all these beauty treats! (Full disclosure: I went a little nutty selecting products for this list, so the box doesn’t quite close with all the items inside… but I figured whoever won wouldn’t mind).
